Der DollaTek M.2 EA Key 2.5GbE Netzwerkadapter nutzt den RTL8125BG Chipsatz (geht u.a. problemlos mit Proxmox 8.x oder AlmaLinux 9.x) und unterstützt Geschwindigkeiten bis 2.5Gbit/s.Primär für den Dell 5070 gekauft funktioniert dieser Adapter hier auch problemlos. Der Einbau ist Grundsätzlich einfach, um den Port nach außen zu führen bedarf es eines Adapters (3D-Druck Vorlagen sind im Netz zu finden).Aufgrund eines Erfahrungsberichts aus dem Netz über einen anderen Adapter mit gleichem Chipsatz probierte ich mein Glück auch im Fujitsu Futro S740, er wurde leider nichtmal auf PCI-Ebene erkannt (u.a. lspci liefert keine Informationen).

Having just brought a new UDR7 Router with 2.5gb Lan ports its was time to upgrade the proxmox device to be able to utilise 2.5G Lan instead of good ole 1G. As this is hosted on a Dell Micro PC the only option was this or USB dongle which im not a fan of.I removed the unused Wifi card and plugged this in, ran the cable over the 2.5 inch ssd popped out the extra blanking port on the device and then fixed the network port with a few screws. Install took less than 2 minutes.Booted the device into the BIOS, under Wifi unticked the bluetooth option and then rebooted.Using lspci proxmox correctly displayed the adapter and as i was not using the 1G port i knew i had to change the network configuration file so the bridge pointed to this new Lan. Once saved and rebooted proxmox was live on the network again no updates requiredSo very impressed with how easy it was to get this card installed and up and running.

Todo bien. Conexión a 2.5G, lo único preferiría la opción de conector vertical de la faja de datos en la tarjeta, al ser horizontal puede topar con algún componente de la placa base. En la foto mi Dell Wyse 5070 que utilizo con proxmox y opnsense como router.

Easy to install in my Lenovo ThinkCenter M700. However, it did not initially work in Windows 11. I had to go into "advanced Network Settings" and do a network reset before it would be recognised by Windows, and now it works. If you are going to only use it in Windows, it will probably be okay.Cons:It only comes with one screw that does not fit either the board or the NIC adapter, and you can throw away the screwdriver as it is useless.I originally purchased this to use in my Lenovo ThinkCenter M700 as my LAN connection for a firewall, but unfortunately for me it is not recognised by Pfsense. It only arrived yesterday, so if I get it to work I will update the review. Note to seller, forget the screwdriver and add the correct screws for the NIC and the card.
