This is a nice looking slicer, but it is totally ridiculous to sell this unit in the US with a 220 Volt motor. THERE IS NO INDICATION ABOUT THE VOLTAGE REQUIREMENT ON THE AMAZON ADD.The Britt's should know, we in the US, are still on 120 Volt (Unfortunally) I just purchased a boost transformer for $30.00 to run it
