Our 6 year old rescue boy has fear aggression with other dogs, which meant we could never leave him off lead without a lot of anxiety. A friend has just adopted a puppy who eats pooh (sorry) and he put her in one of these muzzles. On his advice, I got one for Mr Rufus. He was a bit miffed at first but has now got used to it. He CAN get it off if he really tries and if I haven’t tied it on to his halter but in the main he walks happily and forgets it. It has really changed everything on walkies because my other dog, a very timid rescue, now has her mate to explore with, so she is much happier. I just wish I’d found out about these muzzles sooner.

Having a greyhound with a high prey drive I use this every time he goes out. He has learnt to "leave it" now (cats are his main dislike) but I wouldn't feel comfortable not putting it on him as being an ex-racing rescue he is still a little skittish with people.
