Dorman 594-279 6-1/8' Double Serpentine Harmonic Balancer

This is the worst harmonic balancer I ever bought in 3 years completely fill apart. wasted my money don't waste yours. would not recommend this product. this is the second Product I got from Dorman that went bad. Won't buy any more of their products.

Have had trouble with OEM kia balancers separating from the rubber liner. Thought a dorman might be an improvement. It was not. It is an OEM kia under dorman name. The outer (pulley) ring breaks free from rubber isolator as a result of load from A/C pump.Finally decided to just re-bond the outer ring to the rubber liner with a liberal, well filled layer of 3M 5200 marine sealant. Clean well with denatured alc before bonding. It has lasted longer than the new balancer did. Cheaper, too... can't beat that.
