This Circular Saw is a compact, versatile power tool designed for DIYers and homeowners who need precision and flexibility for a range of materials. Here’s what makes it stand out and what to consider before adding it to your toolkit. The inclusion of six blades (for wood, soft metal, and tile) adds versatility, allowing you to switch between materials without making extra purchases. Its built-in laser guide and parallel edge guide help achieve straight, accurate cuts, making it ideal for detailed work and DIY projects. The metal auxiliary handle, which can be attached on either side, and the enlarged base (3.5 x 9.5 inches) provide extra stability and control, especially useful for users working on precise or longer cuts. The saw offers quick bevel adjustments (0–45°) and depth settings (up to 1-11/16" at 90°, 1-3/8" at 45°), broadening its range of applications. Safety features like the dual-press trigger system and compatibility with workshop vacuums for dust control further enhance its appeal. The main drawback is its smaller blade thickness and size, which limits cutting depth compared to full-size saws, making it best for smaller projects or as a handy supplement to larger tools. Overall, it’s an excellent value for home maintenance, crafting, and light renovation tasks.

I picked this up to cut thinner boards and sheets of plastic for use on my various projects. One of the reasons I was so interested is because the blade is on the left side of the saw. I'm right handed and one of those people who like to be able to see exactly where the saw blade is cutting the material. While most circular saws available tend to place the blade on the right side of the unit, away from my eyesight, this little saw does not.The saw itself is a small 4 1/2 in blade, similar in size to most angle grinder discs. The unit is somewhat long, designed to be held in the hand. It also comes with a secondary handle that can be attached for additional control. For me, it took a little while to get used to the saw. The best way I can describe its design is that it is similar to many handheld angle grinders and is much different from most circular saws. This is very evident when first trying to use it and becoming accustomed to the angle at which you had to hold it against the piece you are cutting. While I was able to operate it one handed without the additional handle, I could see where it would be more comfortable for those with slightly larger hands.Overall, this is a great little tool in the toolbox. It works well for thinner pieces I use in my various projects.

Yes, other people have said it and I'll say it too: this tool is a hefty one. It's not a light, cheap little thing. But I'm actually ok with that. Because it's a small blade, you need that solidity to keep things steady. I can do a nice, clean cut with this thing for that reason.Blade replacement is easy, and I like the attachments. Even though it's weighty for its size, it's not super wide, so it will still offer better access for tighter cuts than a traditional skill saw.The laser is nice and bright, but is also the reason why I had to dock one star. The reason is that it is significantly tilted to the left. It's kind of a shame because the tool is otherwise well-designed! Still, this is a great buy and it was probably just a lemon.

The first thing I found out was that the laser is battery powered. There is a small cap on the laser that you remove to find an on and off switch to turn the laser on and off with. Just remember to turn the switch off after using the saw. For me, that isn’t that big of a deal. I thought the laser beam was bright and easy to see. While there is no problem seeing it, I wonder how well those batteries will hold up over time. There is a safety switch on the left of the handle and above the trigger that has to be depressed first in order for you to pull the trigger to start the saw. I found it awkward to do this and it was somewhat annoying. It probably will be hard for a person with smaller hands to operate this saw. The dust collection port was okay but I felt it was in the way. I liked that the Allen key has a storage spot right on the power cord and is held in place very securely.I plan to use this saw for small, light duty jobs and probably won’t be cutting anything over 3/4" in thickness. For this, the saw worked very well. I thought the saw blades for wood was decent and worked well too. I felt the saw had pretty good power and I didn’t have any problems cutting through anything I used it on. Overall, outside of a couple small issues, I really do like this saw.

Received this item today and used it to cut outlet notches in a bookcase. It worked extremely well. The saw cut through 3/4" select pine easily. The cut was smooth with no tear out and requiring little sanding. Cut depth and bevel are easy to adjust. The laser guide keeps your cut on line. It took me a few tries to fully understand when to end a cut on a notch, so I recommend using test cuts to get used to the saw. Also, the separate handle attachment is helpful. It helps stabilize the saw during the cut. It attaches to the top of the saw behind the blade.Despite being much smaller than a standard circular saw, this item is fairly heavy, similar to the weight of a jig saw. It feels solid in your hand. The materials feel like they will hold up. I did use the alignment attachment and recommend it for rip cuts. It's not as accurate as a track saw but the beauty of this device is it takes almost no set up time, will get into places a track saw or larger circular saw cannot, and is perfect for trim work. It is corded, which I prefer because I have enough batteries as is.There is value in this item if it's your only power saw or if it's one of many. It cut 6" X 3/4" notches today, something my miter saw, table saw, circular saw couldn't do. I did not attempt this today but can see the small diameter blade size being perfect for plunge cuts in the center of a sheet. This could save big time if I can avoid making templates. I do recognize that with larger plywood sheets this saw won't deliver the same accuracy as a track saw but I don't believe that's the intent. If this is your only power saw, it will accomplish a lot. Creating lap joints, trim work, picture frames, cross cutting, shorter rip cuts, shelves ......The dust removal nozzle is a nice feature and this saw produces a bit of sawdust. The instructions were actually quite thorough and a the extra blades were a pleasant surprise. There is no case, which works for me but you may want to consider a storage location for the saw and accessories. I also did not test the saw on hardwoods co I can't speak to that. With the ease of the cut on Pine though I'm guessing this saw will work with hardwoods. This is a versatile device that feels durable and will make a nice addition to any shop. I know it will get use in mine because of the quick setup time.
