Ottima vestibilità anche con occhiali da vista e ottima protezione

I used to always wear safety glasses around my house, shop, and yard when doing things that put my eyes in danger or made them uncomfortable. Having worked in the construction and demolition industry requiring them made putting them on second nature the same way putting on a seat belt did after the seat belt laws were passed. After I finally had to get prescription glasses last year, not being able to safely see without them, I had to retire the safety glasses. I simply wore my prescription glasses when I really needed more protection but scratching them makes frequent replacement expensive. Also, when cutting grass on my property where it is extremely dusty most times, I wanted goggles to keep the dust and grass out of my eyes.A few nights ago I was cutting some steel with a grinder and shouldn't have been doing so without more protection than my glasses could offer. I looked around the shop to see if I still had a face shield. I didn't. I knew it was time to get something that would protect my eyes better.Goggles were my best option in part because they keep your face cooler and your mouth free for communicating clearly but also because I chew tobacco when I'm working. Remembering you have a face shield on AFTER you spit is embarrassing whether anyone else saw it or not. :)I found this set and immediately ordered them.They came boxed with individual packaging with each package containing certifications including the ANSI Z87.1 that was required when I was working in the construction industry. I didn't think to check if the goggles themselves had that stamped on them. I'll try to do that soon and if you need to know you can ask in the Q&A section of the listing.Upon inspection I saw that the slotted sections in the pics are vents. Great for preventing fog and keeping cooler.The strap is elastic cloth unlike the rubber straps on some goggles I've worn on job sites. Makes them more comfortable and less likely to pull hair.I tried them over my large frame prescription glasses and, at first, didn't think they would fit. I tried putting my glasses in the googles before putting them on and they fit great. I then put my glasses, tried the goggles again, and it took only slight spreading to fit them over my glasses.As for 5 pair? I'll never have an excuse to not wear them. I'll keep a pair in my upper shop where my bench grinder is, a pair in the lower shop where I do a lot of cutting lumber and other material, a pair with my chainsaw, a pair on my mower, and still have a spare pair.Great set of goggles! Much better and much more comfortable than the ones I see in the big box stores.Great product. Great value.

These goggles feel well made and firm but maybe too firm because it doesn't sit flush with my face. I have higher check bones which push these goggles out and create a gap between my nose. It feels pretty stiff so i don't think i can break it in but maybe it will fit others better.

Je l’utilise pour un usage assez atypique : me protéger les yeux de l’effluve des oignons.Le masque est bien hermétique et m’aide vraiment !
