It works pretty well, but it took some time to figure everything out - I almost returned it. I use it to connect an external monitor to my laptop.At first I thought the receiver was broken: the LED light didn't work and there was no sign of activity on the laptop or monitor after I had plugged everything in. That had to do with the order of connecting sender and reciever. Ultimately, the following works for me: first plug the HDMI and USB from the receiver into the appropriate sockets of the TV or monitor. Then plug the USB of the transmitter into a (laptop) USB socket to power it and finally plug the HDMI of the transmitter into its socket. When I first connected the HDMI of the transmitter and then the USB, the external monitor saw both the transmitter and receiver, but said it was 'waiting for a signal'. It worked only after dis-reconnecting the HDMI, but not after dis-reconnecting the USB. So if it doesn't work, play a bit with the order of things.Once the monitor recieved the signal I didn't have to change any of the the display settings. The reciever worked on all USB-A ports of my TV but I am not sure which versions those are: officially it needs a 5V/2A power source. There is a small latency (much less than a second). I compared it with my Google Chromecast TV at home: colors are the same to my eyes, but Google Chrome has significantly more latency (around 1 second) when casting from my laptop.So yeah, I am happy with this purchase. Just annoying that the LED of the reciever does not work (I read the same thing in another review) because that hampers troubleshooting.Let's just hope that the next generation of these things can do without the seperate power cables (but I guess most devices do not have thunderbolt type ports yet).

L'uso della doppia banda 2,4 GHz e 5 GHz garantisce una connessione stabile, anche in ambienti affollati di segnali wireless.Ottimo anche per presentazioni aziendali, film in salotto o proiezioni all'aperto. Il design rosso è un tocco di stile che lo rende facilmente riconoscibile.In sintesi: un dispositivo affidabile, versatile e comodo. Consigliato a chi vuole liberarsi dai cavi HDMI e godere della massima libertà nella trasmissione di contenuti multimediali!

You plug it in. It works. No faffing, no software installs, no nothing. It just shows up as an extra monitor.Follow the instructions, and be patient. It can take 30 seconds to establish a connection. But when it does, you're good to go!It constantly shows to your computer as a plugged in monitor, and also displays a signal to the TV (even if its just telling you it cant see the other side) which means you don't get any stuttering on your PC like when you plug in or remove a monitor, and it's clear which input to use on your TV even if it can't see a connection from the PC.

Trés bon produit et extrêmement pratique, fonctionnement parfait et simple d'emplois, la portée est de plus de 10m c'est parfait rien a dire, c'est le deuxiéme que j'achéte pour mes clients.

Excellent! Out performs all others.I have purchased several of cheaper ones and the connection is never stable.It creates its own signal and doesn’t rely on wifi.I have purchased four, one for each of my meeting rooms for seamless wireless screen sharing.
