I bought this for the jubilee weekend when we had a garden party . It was fiddly to put together despite following the instructions with it. It is very flimsy once in the ground and tipped a few times. Not over impressed with the quality

First you need to use a good quality wood glue to fix the brackets in place.Next, and not mentioned in the instructions, you need to ensure that the two brackets are aligned for later in the construction stage.When adding the leg you will need to add 4 washers (not provided) to prevent the bolt heads from going straight through the plywood.I intend to use better quality bolts with wider heads than those supplied.I have not tried the full assembly yet, but the leg does penetrate and stand on its own in my lawn (with a heavy gravel subsoil).I will strengthen the point with glue and/or varnish before using the product for its intended purpose.
