My fairly new couch is moved around fairly frequently depending whether we have visitors or want move it closer to the TV. It has become more and more difficult to move and on looking at the casters, they had worn on the bearing and were tipping. These casters from Amazon are much more robust. They were a bit of a diy job as the caster socket supplied needs to be fitted to replace the existing one. A bit of leverage with a screwdriver got the old ones out and the bored hole in the couch was an exact size for replacing. Tapped in with a hammer and a bit of protective wood, job done. Pushed the new casters into the socket and the couch moves like brand new. Well pleased and they look robust with a larger bearing surface. Fifteen minute upgrade, job done. Ten points from the missus as she doesn't need me to move it any more. I can just watch and not feel guilty.
