I got this to house a sump pump that I have dug into a corner of my carport, that occasionally gets lightly flooded when we get severe downpours. For this purpose the bucket works really well, and I managed to find a lid from an old water butt that fits the top, allowing me to run a drain pipe and the electric cord through the lid, and have a permanently installed system in place.As I do not use the bucket for its intended purpose, to mix plaster, I am not able to comment on its suitability for that purpose, but I imagine that the handle may not hold up too well over time, if filling this bucket full with plaster.

The reason & purpose I needed this was for my spray gun I seen a lot of blogs & vids they suggested a bucket this size & heavy duty cleaning equipment the over spray I use this with my Graco Cordless Connect when priming & spraying & cleaning also it has numbers a ruler on the inside of the white bucket perfect measurement if wanted accuracy not random guess work I have not tested with concrete or plastering mixer & I have not used drill stir mixing attachment so I don't know if bucket would break but looking at it & feel pretty sure it would fine look so amazingly sturdy just sprayed paint & water based products
