I am very happy with this block plane, $8 shipped! I use this planer from my toolbox again and again. It's a basic design, and it does take some patience to get the adjustment dialed in. Once you get that nice, thin shaving, lock it down!I also have to admit that my being a fan of Mad Men gave it a bump up when I was comparison shopping.
