I work as a kitchen/ bathroom fitter. This tape is probably the best I’ve had. And trust me I’ve had a lot. Measurements are easy to read due to the black/ white contrast, especially if like me you have wise eyes which don’t quite work as well as in their youth. Very convenient measuring from the reverse side for when you’re upside down or in some stupid position. Tape automatically locks when extended helping when you’re doing three different things with two hands and you don’t want to worry about the tape hook losing grip and flying back and catching the fingers. Large sized hook for when you’re extending it out and grabbing edges. As for durability I’ve had mine about two months (which is the average half life of any tape in a used every day setting) and it’s holding out pretty well. Bargain.

Clearly legible (on both sides), comfortable grip, good rewind. And cheap.I opened mine full out and gave the hub a little squirt of thin maintenance oil.Worked just fine when delivered but a bit of oil always helps moving metal bits, so it worked even better afterwards.Obviously.Works like a dream.A good, practical tape to have - recommended.
