I've had one of these for years, but I bought another as a present for my daughter, in September 2012.Mine sat in the garden shed for a while, until I had a bout of persistent back trouble, which made getting down & dirty in the garden, difficult & painful. The garden refused to stop growing, or getting untidy, so I had to find a way of being able to attack it. Then I remembered my kneeler. I could sit down among the plants in raised beds, or, by inverting it, kneel on its padded inner seat, and lean on the legs for support, whilst grappling and groping at ground level. In this position, I could also use the legs for a hand push-up, when trying to get up from kneeling.Unfortunately my back has now given up the ghost (several slipped discs), so I virtually HAVE to use it for ANY task than involves kneeling, because I can't support my whole weight, or get up, from a kneel. So I use it for all DIY tasks, and housework, as well as gardening, which need me down on the deck. As my back is so weak, I find bending down difficult, so I use it to sit on, right way up, for tasks such as brushing the dog, or dressing a toddler. Even tying my shoelaces!.During its life, I've left it outside for a whole year, and otherwise abused it. The coloured plastic has faded a bit, and it's hardened a tad, but it's still got a lot of life left in it. My daughter has recently had to have surgery to her back, as well. Now she's recovered, she has been told it will take a long time before her back has regained full strength, and movement, so she's almost as limited as I am. So I treated her to one. She did not thank me for it at the time (pride & vanity), but, a month later, she's realised just how useful it is. I reminded her, that it's the thought that counts.So, don't just think of it as a gardening aid. It's an invaluable aid for people with dodgy backs. It's light to carry, and compact enough to be stashed out of sight in the house. It's a doddle to keep clean with a garden hose, and dries quickly.Delivery was fast (less than 72 hours from making the Amazon order).

Die Bank gefällt mir gut. Ich hatte schon vorher eine, die jetzt nach vielen Jahren leider eingeknickt ist. Da ich mit der sehr zufrieden war, habe ich mir die gleiche wieder gekauft. Sie ist bequem zum sitzen und auch, wenn man sie auf den Kopf stellt gut zum Knien. Also m.E. Sehr zu empfehlen.
