We needed a costume last minute as our 4 year old daughter had international day at school, and they had to come in a traditional outfit. As we are a British/American family, what would she wear......Morris dancer.....cheerleader....princess...Trump costume. Then we figured it out British colonist in the Americas...two birds, one stone.We managed to find this costume and it exceeded our expectations, especially when considering the price was only £8.85. The costume is well made and definitely looks the part. You will not be disappointed with this costume, and at this price point you can’t go wrong.I don’t usually post reviews, but I found the other review slightly unfair and may sway people from purchasing it. To give this costume 3 stars, due to the fact you couldn’t be bothered to read the whole description, doesn’t seem right. I ordered Tuesday for the event on Thursday. I found this costume with only 6 minutes left to order for next day delivery. I managed to read the description, see that it doesn’t have a hat, find a suitable hat and order both in time....and Amazon delivery, delivered both the following day, so we couldn’t be happier.Comes in a nice little hanging garment bag for storage.Well worth the money

My son LOVES this costume and continues to use it just for fun. His favorite part is the ruffle collar - I forgot the correct term for it. My son would wear this out to eat, he’s worn it to school a few times, talent show...and everywhere we go he gets compliments! I was worried that the costume wouldn’t wash well, but with boys being boys...and the fact he wore it a few times a week, eventually I had to. And it held up well! I thought it would disintegrate in the washer but I was wrong. I hang dry it, but my son placed in the dryer once and it’s still good to go! Fabric is a velvet. It’s a very handsome costume. I will repurchase once he grows out of it.

I bought this as Holloween costume for my 4yr old son. This costume was cute and good quality but getting your little boy to wear a wig and ruffles will probably be hard to do. My 4yr old kept snatching the Wig and ruffles off. He started crying saying he wanted to be a transformer or Dinosaur. I ended up taking it off and letting him wear his Dinosaur costume from the year before. Probably better if it was just used for a school play.
