If you look in the list of things I've purchased and reviewed, you'll see a review for a big ass bag. I ended up having to buy some sort of extra support for that bag. These suspenders are that extra support. As I mentioned in the review for that fanny pack, I haven't done anything stupid, yet, so I can't speak to the durability. By and large, it seems serviceable. The pads are comfortable and the straps seem to adjust easily enough. My one concern is the plastic buckles. Maybe they will last for a good long time and I can come back and raise this to a 5 star review. I would have given this a 4.5 star, but that option is not available. So, 4 it is. But, plastic is lighter and as I just wrote, maybe the buckles will last for a good ling time. In that case, the absence of the weight of metal buckles will be greatly appreciated. Looking back at the options I had here, yes, I would buy them again. But I might also try finding a good surplus store and buying an LBE H harness. Already broken in, added patina, old stuff, like me, just looks cooler than new stuff. Getting back on track though, I don't think it will fail and I would recommend it to friends or strangers.
