Probably the best response from any beater I’ve tried…pair this with a good direct drive pedal and your hits will be instant. My only complaint is I wished the beater head angle adjustment was a little more obtuse. Go ahead and make sure to lock the angle too, self adjusting feature just makes your hits sloppy. The 4 weights are all removable which gives you so many options to get the feel right where you want it. It does not come with a weight/memory lock for the shaft but rather an o ring that sits snug enough to where it doesn’t move when you lock the beater in.

Without a doubt the best beaters I've used in 20+ years of drumming! Are they more expensive than most? Sure, but you're getting what you pay for here and these blow the competition completely out of the water in quality, adjustability and feel. Don't think, just do it.
