Real wood product good quality wall mounts easily

The design of this drumstick wall stand/rack is well done overall. I love that it has ten slots for a large collection and that the brackets are deep enough to hold multiple sizes of drumsticks—or wizarding wands for people who want to think outside the box or who have families with dual needs like mine. The curved lips on each rack also do an excellent job of keeping the sticks or wands in place. I had to intentionally hit them from below and behind to get them to pop out of the rack. Replicating a standard knock or jostle bounced them from their preferred positions but didn’t create enough force to jump them over the lip.Overall, the wood seems soft but of decent quality, and the finish is smooth and nicely done if you like the look of natural wood; however, my stand had permanent white marks marring the surface in multiple places from some form of damage in the factory or shipping. I’ll need to paint the rack to cover this when I find time, as they’re quite obvious. Additionally, the stand looks polished for the most part, but enough of the cutout areas and edges are chipped or rough to be noticeable and cheapen the display. I’ve included examples in my photos, but there are plenty more.Assembly was quick. The board all fit together exactly as intended, and the predrilled holes were all complete and lined up properly with each other when required. While the stand was easy enough to put together, I had to look at a picture online to do so, as the manufacturer included only two screw guides (small strips of rolled-up paper of the same quality as economy printer paper) within the box and nothing else that came close to resembling instructions. For those not accustomed to assembling furniture, I have three tips: 1) The inset part (counterbore) of the predrilled holes goes on the outside, so the screw heads can theoretically sit flush with or inside the boards; 2) When installing the top brace board, ensure the keyhole slots are oriented with the circular part down so that your screws can lock into place when you hang the rack; and 3) Attach the top, larger brace first but DON’T screw it in fully until after you’ve lined up and mostly screwed in the bottom brace or you might have trouble sliding the smaller brace into place.Inexplicably, the company included fourteen screws instead of the needed six, but this turned out to be a bit of a blessing as the insets weren’t drilled properly. When screwed in fully, some of the hardware sat inset as intended, but most of the screws stuck out. Using a caliper, I discovered that the screw heads ranged from 7.5mm to 8.1mm, so I was able to use the smallest ones to minimize how much the screws stuck out, but even after that, the levels by which the screws showed alongside the board varied. When I take the stand apart to paint it, I’ll likely replace the screws if I can find the right size flat heads. Hopefully, that will help since I’m mounting the stand in the main part of my house, where guests will often see it. I also want to note that the included screws are unusually soft, so if you need to back them out, be extra careful. I found them easy to strip with a standard Phillips-head screwdriver using a light touch.Two additional screws and anchors were also included in a separate bag in the box for mounting. They work, but the screws are shorter than I’d prefer, and the anchors are cheap, thin plastic, the type that typically splits with any resistance. If you happen to be using the stand for a combined weight higher than standard, I’d recommend upgrading both items. I doubt they’ll hold much.Based on design alone, I’d have rated this stand five stars. Unfortunately, there were too many quality issues to merit that or even for me to recommend it at the listed price of $53.99. 3.5 stars downgraded to 3 because 1/2 stars aren't an option.

My husband loves this rack for all of his drum sticks!!

This is a pretty cool rack that gets those sticks up where everyone can see them. With the ability to hold ten sets of sticks, it really packs a lot of punch.The materials are of good- to very good- quality, it was pretty easy to assemble, and once it was on the wall, it felt pretty secure/sturdy. That said, I do feel that it is a bit pricey for what it is, though if you're a drummer looking to display your sticks (or just have them more easily accessible), it's probably worth spending a little extra.Beyond that, there's not really too much to say. The slots are angled in such a way that the sticks will stay where they're supposed to be - but the sticks are also very easy to remove when needed. Overall, I good purchase and a solid choice if you're in the market for something like this.

I got this display stand to show off my collection of used and autographed drumsticks. The stand is of nice quality and the wood has some weight to it. It was easy to assemble and easy to hang on the wall with a few basic tools. This is so much better than just having my sticks sitting on a shelf, not being able to be seen. Now I can look up on my wall in my studio and get inspiration from some of my favorite drummers! My collection of famous drumsticks is always growing and I will probably consider getting another one of these display shelves soon. Happy I got this!
