This is the second one i got. These are great, contain a real FTDI chip which can be programmed with their tool. It sends full 512 DMX at 42 frames/sec and can be used to control a full universe. Build quality is quite good, solid moulded usb and decent soldering on the XLR. In the old days you had to make one yourself from a ftdi usb board and a 485 driver-ic. Now you can buy this, progress is made!

I'm using this adapter with QLC+ to program light shows for a small theatre with 10 LED pars and some scans. Easy does it! Adapter works like a charm.

This DMX interface has a 3-pin XLR port that interfaces with my lights, which also have 3-pin XLR ports.Installation was plug-and-play on Mac OS Big Sur with no drivers required. It shows up in the System Report under USB as a FT232R USB UART and that port shows up in QLC+. Once the port is mapped to the universe as an output, everything is good to go.It works flawlessly with my 8-channel LED DMX 512 lights.

El producto ha funcionado correctamente y cumple las especificaciones técnicas del mismo. Lo pude utilizar sin problema con mi equipo el cual lo reconoce como debe ser como un puerto COM.

Funktioniert einwandfrei.Bin selbst DMX Neuling, habe die Steuerung aber Manuell unter QLC+ ausprobiert, geht mit meinem RGBW-Strahler.Ich hatte nur zwei Probleme:Zum einen muss man sich bewusst sein welche DMX-Kanäle das Gerät hat. Es bringt mir nichts, wenn ich R,G oder B auf Kanal 1-3 ansteure, aber nicht in meinem Fall Kanal 5 "Dimmer" für die Helligkeit - stand natürlich in der Doku vom Strahler, hatte ich aber erst übersehen.Dann wurde der DMX-Controller zwar problemlos erkannt, aber es ging irgendwie nichts, die Werte wurden scheinbar nicht übertragen. Bis mir auffiel, dass bei der DMX-Ausgangs-Auswahl bei dem Controller nur "FT232R USB UART SN:" stand - also OHNE Seriennummer. Nach der neu Installation der FTDI-Treiber wurde es dann einwandfrei erkannt und auch die SN in QLC+ angezeigt - und Schwupps, ging es!Was ich auch übersehen habe, dass DMX einen Abschlusswiderstand am letzten Gerät braucht, da habe ich einfach nicht dran gedacht.

J'ai récemment fait l'acquisition de ce câble USB vers DMX (FTDI) pour contrôler un univers DMX via QLC+. Je suis extrêmement satisfait de mon achat. Le câble a été immédiatement reconnu par mon ordinateur, que ce soit sous Windows, Mac (Apple Silicon) ou Linux, sans nécessiter d'installation de pilotes spécifiques. L'interface est très réactive, ce qui facilite grandement la gestion de l'éclairage en temps réel. Étant donné son prix abordable et la réputation de fiabilité des puces FTDI, je considère cet achat comme une excellente valeur. Je le recommande vivement à toute personne cherchant une solution fiable et efficace pour la gestion d'un petit parc de lumieres
