I use this little device to make my own cheap programming cable for the President Lincoln II+ HAM Radio.I made a female USB connector on it to connect a normal USB cable to connect to the radio.(Building directions can be found on youtube).Drivers are automaticly downloaded on windows 11.Starting up the programming software and set the COM first, read out the memory of the radio and it switch automaticly to PC MODE.Don't forget to set the voltage jumper to 5V.

The importend stuff: We al know about all the fake "ftdi" chips. these are not, these have the REAL FTDI which you can reprogram with tools like ft_prog and mprog. They already have a unique serial, but you can also change them (so you can plug in a whole bunch of them and they all show up and are addressable individualy)They work great as DMX dongle too!The plastic case they come in is sturdy, the jumper is a bit tricky to remove (to move it to 5v for example). overall it's great build quality, well worth the low price. 10/10 would (and will) buy again!

Excellent quality usb to ttl, genuine FTDI chip ,I bought the 3,3/5 v model ,voltage set by jumper ,a manual is included ,the only reason you would need to replace is if you messed it up yourself.i highly recommend purchasing one of these over the cheap knock offs,
