Loved the books, but please resize the book cover image to fit normally. The book icon is too small and shaped differently in the kindle app. Silly oversight

Sehr Schade.

I've never been a big book reader, think I may have read about 4 - 5 full books from start to finish in my entire life, I'm 41, born in the early 80s, so I sucked into the "Rabbit hole" of video games during my early years and teens, then ended up playing WoW for the past 20 years so I never had much time for the consumption of literature in book form. I saw Dune (1987) recently, then I watched the remake in the 2020 and 2024 part 2 movies, then I bought the Dune Imperium Board game and expansions... I suddenly and without noticing it had become sucked into this world of Dune, I've always liked Sci-Fi and fantasy, but it always felt too... over produced, but Dune, has something very organic to it, as if Its not a story, but a telling of a past event. I needed to know more, I wanted more detail than the movies could offer, so I turned to one place all great movies come from, the original source, the books. As mentioned, I've not read much at all, having access to games and movies, I've always let the screen do it's story telling, but I'm finding it absolutely invigorating to open these books and begin my absorbing the story as was intended, it's fascinating to me and I'm enjoying it immensely, I cannot wait to read through all six, maybe more than once if I feel the need to go back and re-read things I might not have fully understood the first time around, things I might not have picked up on until plots and explanations further down the line and in other books made them selves known. I'm glad I decided to give reading a proper shot, I feel I've been missing out a lot and may now start buying books often. These six are all well presented, they're cleanly printed and have the best smell, I know you all know what I mean, I've not had the pleasure of sniffing a brand new book as often as you all probably have but damn is it good. I kinda guessed the 1st one to read would be the one called simply "Dune" but the others at first didn't have any identifying marks as to which order they were meant to be read, then I checked the back cover of the books, they all mention their respective sequence, so wasn't too hard to discern that. All in all I can recommend these books, despite maybe not having much experience as another storied veteran of reading, I can at least say, they are what they are intended to be and do the thing that enables you to use them for the intended purpose very well.
