I wanted to reduce a colour then redye using a different shade

I needed to strip the colour from a linen blouse so I could redye it. I followed the instructions to the letter. The product did not strip the colour - in fact, it made NO perceptible difference to the colour whatsoever. It smells awful too. Money wasted.

Was a bit concerned based on other reviews but this worked incredibly well. I had a black cardigan I’m hoping to lighten to dye another brighter colour and after one use it’s taken it to a faded purple (see pic) so going to use another box. The cardigan is 100% cotton which I think I recommended. Highly recommend but do check it works for your fabric content first as I think that’s why it may not have worked for others
