I tested this on my test rig and it works as expected. The flex of the rod is not bad.

It did a great work!. Not sure that it would last for tough use. It can be noticed a diminished performance after some holes, but in my case that I only needed it for a one time work it was fine. Good value for the price.

The product itself is top notch. It is definitely stiff and doesn't have a lot of flex, but that's expected with the 36" model, as noted in the product video. But it drilled through studs like a champ, with nice clean holes that made pulling wires through a breeze.The one problem I have is that I was sent a product that was clearly used before. The label was ripped off the shaft and scratches all over it. Even the paint was chipped off the blade. The box had been clearly closed back up with scotch tape. So pretty unimpressed that I paid full price for an open box/used version that should have been marked as such and sold at a discount.

The build quality is good, but the bit has a design issue. The shaft is round so the bit slips in the drill chuck. The shaft is flexible to allow good reach when drilling.
