My blind dog loves this toy. I bought two so I can dish wash one while the other one is in use. This thing is extremely durable. We have been dishwashing this kong for a year now with no issues (plastic smell or material durability). Out of all the kogns I have ever bought my dog, this is at the top of the list for dishwasher safety, material comfort for my dog, durability, sound, and overall function.
