I'm a reasonably new home-brewer, but I've been using this since September 2024 to regulate CO2 from my disposable CO2 tanks via that converts to the standard W21.8/14 used on normal CO2 tanks, as I've not taken the plunge for a full-size tank yet - but wanted to know that if/when I do, I can continue using this regulator rather than having to buy another. It should be easy to find a Sodastream to W21.8/14 adaptor if you plan to use this with Sodastream bottles - and if you outgrow those and get a proper CO2 tank, then just remove the adaptor and you're good to go. The mini Sodastream-fitting regulators looked like a neat solution, but can't be used for full-size pub-style bottles, so a lost investment if/when you switch.So far this Eastpole unit has performed flawlessly for me. It's been at fridge temperatures in my kegerator setup some of the time with no ill effects, and room temperature the rest of the time. Setting the desired pressure is easy, and it appears to maintain it perfectly well (as you'd hope, what with that being the entire point of the product!)It's a solid bit of kit and It feels like it should last well (I will of course update my review if it fails, but 4-5 months of usage at time of writing and no problems.

This is a reasonable regulator for CO2 bottles - I will use mine with a mig welder to replace the ridiculously expensive DIY refill bottles and their respective poor quality regulators. It will hopefully allow me to use more commercially available 'big' bottles that will last a lot longer and are less likely to leak.
