I really like the way this book makes it easier to understand theory. It really has impacted my playing in learning music faster and writing my own solos.

As someone who has delved into numerous guitar theory books over the years, I can confidently say that 'Easy Peasy Guitar Music Theory For Beginners ...'stands out as an absolute gem in the realm of musical education. I purchased the book about two weeks ago and I already know that it is a real game-changer for me!In my opinion, what sets this book apart is its unparalleled structure and remarkable simplicity in explaining complex musical concepts. From the very first chapter, I was impressed by how effortlessly it guides readers through the fundamental aspects of guitar theory. The progression is so smooth and logical that even intricate concepts become clear and manageable. One of the standout features is its ability to take even the most daunting theories and break them down into digestible, easy-to-understand segments. This made the learning process not only enjoyable but incredibly effective. The author's knack for presenting information in a clear, concise manner truly makes this book a treasure trove for both beginners and more advanced players alike. The exercises and examples provided are not just theoretical but also practical (with the help of free additional online content) , allowing for immediate application and reinforcement of the concepts learned.Whether you're looking to understand scales, chords, or progressions, this book caters to all levels of expertise without overwhelming the reader. In conclusion, 'Easy Peasy Guitar Music Theory: For Beginners...' is a must-have addition to any guitarist's library. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to deepen their understanding of guitar theory in an enjoyable and comprehensive manner.

I was really excited about this book based on the title and description. Unfortunately, it doesn't live up to its title and misses by a long shot. Note that all the 5 star reviews are from the UK where she is based (fellow musicians?).I've been playing guitar and taking lessons on and off for over 50 years. Yes I know all the strings, notes on frets, Barre cords, etc. But I'm lacking in music theory and scales and want to fill that theory void. This book is not "Easy Peasy" as the title suggests, it's very disjointed in presentation, lacking adequate illustrations and much simpler explanations. She obviously knows her stuff, but hasn't figured out how to simplify guitar theory for someone who's not at her advanced level or playing ability. Her website referenced in the book is also disappointing. Yes it has "some" content, but mostly links to other sites (so they can sell you stuff). Her lesson section is about selling you personal lessons. Her "special" link are audio tracks of her playing. She should do herself a favor and post some quality videos of her demostrating/explaining what she is trying to unsuccessfully cover in this book.I really wanted to like this book, but can only give it 1 star. It's a great concept, but poorly executed.

This book is simply outstanding if you want to improve your guitar playing ability and understanding of what it takes to improve,. This is the best book I've ever found and in a straightforward and down to earth style has helped me to break through that frustrating 'ceiling' I kept hitting in my own playing ability. It's thorough but clear in its explanations and along with the simple diagrams, help to clear up so many of the unanswered questions I had - there is a lot in here to support players of different standards too. This book shows that learning Music Theory doesn't have to be daunting but actually enjoyable. Definitely recommend.
