Ich möchte die Kamera gerne zum filmen beim segeln auf einer Jolle verwenden.Zudem benutze ich keinen PC sondern einen Mac mit Catalina soviel schon mal vorweg.Da der Mac ein bisserl merkwürdig bez. der Videos ist, wozu die Kamera ja nichts kann, sei hier erwähnt, dass ich die Kamera auf HD1080p bei 50fps einstellen musste, damit der Mac die Filme akzeptiert und abspielt. Die Kamera kann aber deutlich mehr.Da sie beim segeln um sie vor Wasser zu schützen in das Unterwassergehäuse muss, obwohl sie nicht unter Wasser geht, viel mir auf, dass die Kamera bei leichtem Wind und 24 Grad Lufttemperatur auch im Schatten sehr heiß wird. So heiss, dass man sie - wenn sie aus dem Gehäuse genommen wird, kaum noch mit den Fingerspitzen halten kann. Ich schätze mal, dass sie über 60 Grad warm geworden ist.Des weiteren gab es Probleme mit einem Absturz, so dass ich sie nicht mehr bedienen konnte. Also Akku raus und wieder rein. Danach ging es wieder. Ob das mit der Temperatur zusammenhängt, weiss ich nicht.Ich wollte sie mit der WiFi App iSmart fern steuern. Das funktioniert auch, wenn Smartphone und Kamera dicht beieinander sind. Gehz man aber auf Distanz, 2-3 Meter, verliert die App die Verbindung zur Kamera. Ob das am Unterwassergehäuse oder wiederum an der Temperatur liegt hab ich noch nicht prüfen können.Das 170 Grad Weitwinkelobjektiv ist prima geeignet um ein breites Bild zu generieren.Das mitgelieferte Zubehör ist eher spärlich und geht zudem sehr schnell kaputt.So ist nur ein Clip für die Adapter dabei und der brach schon nach einmaligen benutzen ab. Wahrscheinlich ein Materialfehler, es gibt diese Teil aber nicht einzeln. Mir wurde von Amazon auf Kulanz ein Rabatt gewährt, den ich annahm um mir dann mit Zuzahlung einen weiteren Zubehörset zu kaufen. Dort sind nun 3 dieser Clibs enthalten die auch einen deutlich stabileren Eindruck machen.Wer also auf die WiFi Fernsteuerung verzichten kann und einen PC hat der auch die hohen Auflösungen und Framerates unterstützt ist hier sicher gut bedient, sofern die hohe Temperaturentwicklung nicht stört.

I have been looking for an action camera of this type for a long time now. I need a camera that can shoot 1080p at 25fps to conform to British TV PAL standards and this has been the only one that I could afford with PAL recording. All of the other action camera manufacturers seem to be obsessed with 4K and frame rates of 30, 60 and 120 which are no good at all if one is producing videos for the PAL TV areas.I have used this type of camera before and this one was to replace an excellent SJ4000 which eventually died. The control layout is the same as the SJ4000 and the menu very similar. Once I had read the instructions, which were very good, they were followed to the letter as I have been aware for many years that setups can vary. On receipt I noted that once turned on the battery showed about 60% full so I went ahead, inserted a suitable SD card, and set up some of the values that I needed. All Ok until I tried to turn off the camera when the power button refused to work and I had to resort to turning off by removing the battery. On trying to turn the camera back on I was presented with a blank screen and no way forward. None of the buttons worked so the battery was once again removed to turn the unit off. At this time I suspected that the battery may have too low a charge and I tried to charge it with the supplied USB lead and powered from my computer as suggested in the instructions. When the power was turned on the camera switched itself on. Again, following instructions, I tried to turn the camera off which again resulted in the need to remove the battery to turn off. This was, obviously, a faulty camera.At this point I decided to check through the various other comments people had made, on several web sites, and especially those with a one star rating and was surprised to find that this was a common problem with this camera. One would have thought that if the manufacturer read the reviews posted by customers, and cared for the quality of their product, they should have realised that there was a problem and resolved it promptly. For the high cost of this camera customers should be expecting an item that worked every time without glitches.I would sincerely recommend that anyone looking to buy this camera reads very carefully the reviews and note that many of the one star reviews are highlighting a problem which should not be occurring. I now have the hassle of returning the item for a refund and searching onward for a suitable camera.

Erstes zugestelltes Gerät hatte einen defekten Knopf. Wurde anstandslos zurückgenommen und Ersatz geliefert.Die zweite Kamera funktioniert einwandfrei, die Bildqualität ist sehr gut für diesen Preis. Nur bei starkem Gegenlicht tut sie sich etwas schwer, die Farben sind nicht so kräftig wie bei der Gopro aber trotzdem absolut top.Die Bildstabilisierung bei 1080/30fps ist echt überraschend gut.Unterwasser habe ich sie noch nicht getestet aber das Gehäuse sieht sehr robust aus und dichtet auch gut ab.Update gibts wenn ich sie auf einem Tauchgang mitgenommen habe.Zubehör macht einen tollen Eindruck, dass einzige was es da zu bemägeln gibt ist die gebogene Klebehalterung.. Sie ist so wenig gebogen dass sie auf meinem Helm nicht funktioniert (zu flach ausgefallen).
