We have a wood burning stove at our cabin. Which we fire up every morning in the spring and fall. It hears the cabin wonderfully and has been in the cabin since 1963 :-)But the specs on these type fans talked about their efficiency to spread the heat throughout the room faster - which would mean you would need to burn less wood to reach the same comfort level you were used to throughout the cabin — well they were right — our cabin reach a warm comfort level much faster and with two of these setting in too if the wood stove we can direct the heat in any direction warming roomsBehind the stove or forward toward the kitchen etc.Also the children like timing when they will start spinning :-)They spin at certain temperature and I like as the fire slowly burns out the will warn you if you see them turning slowly that your hot coals are almost burned out - and if they are stopped you know your stove is cold enough.Good fans — dead quite — don’t expect a wind force from them to blow your face but trust me they move air very well.Good luckBrad

C’est plus un répartiteur qu’un ventilateur : il permet de déconcentrer la chaleur produite par un poêle (le mien est un poêle à granulés avec une surface plane en fonte) et de la distribuer plus uniformément dans une pièce. Cependant il ne faut pas espérer de miracle, ce n’est pas un déstratificateur et son efficacité est donc limitée.Néanmoins si on l’enlève, on sent la différence.Donc un bon investissement pour un appareil qui dépasse en qualité et efficacité leurs homologues et pâles copies venues de certains pays asiatiques et vendues à bas prix.
