I ordered two of these for my son’s third grade class. I got the chance to see them in use when I went in for the holiday party. They are useful but didn’t look extremely comfortable and took up space - wish there was a way to make them foldable. But overall the kids get good use out of them.

Overall the concept it's fun and useful.1. However unless you get the cushion which is another $14 for a total of $40 - it is really HARD to sit on. Not worth to use without a cushion.I had three people test it and the result was the same - sore butt after 20min2. The bottom is also really hard and digs into leather couch or chairs. Not ideal to use on top of soft surfaces.Ok to use on the rug or bed only3. As soon as I got up - the computer fell to the floor, it was rug so it was ok - user mistake from not being used to this different style - however if it had a stopper on the table or heavier on the chair it would prevent it from falling or give the user a few seconds to react and catch it.4. Ergonomics: Fine for kids, but advertising includes adults, not ergonomically correct for adults - arm and neck start to hurt since it's very low.It would need a few modifications to be both functional and ergonomic:- cushion that comes with it and/or ergonomic shaped bottom for comfort- some type of protection or softer material at the bottom to not ruin other furniture- a stick like stopper to prevent books and computers from sliding off- nice to have: adjustable for different ages.Besides that it's useful if used for short periods of time, with a pillow underneath and on a bed.

So... It is as described and works well with my laptop. I got this so my 9 yr old could do her school work on the laptop. So far no issues. She does say that the seat or bottom gets uncomfortable after a while. I used it once and had no problems or issues which is nice since I am a heavier set woman.I will say to make sure you take your computer off first if you are going to stand because these do not stay upright once you get off. The bottom and top are not proportionate and the entire structure is top heavy.

I love the desk. I have attached the basket with a removable bracket. This was my solution to trying to balance my purchases on my lap or a store basket on my lap. I simply slide it under my wheelchair cushion and head to my local stores to pick up a few things and the basket holds it all. Obviously I am not putting 14 five pound items in the basket but, quart of milk , bread, some fresh produce and a cut of meat etc...The table is quite well made and seems quite sturdy.

The overall comfort for children is good, and it seems as if it will last. I have only had it less than a month though, so hard to say. It will be ok to use for elementary age students, but the desk part does bend a little if they lean on it. Also, they have to take their work off the desktop before getting up or it will all tip off with the desk. That is not a flaw, just something to be aware of. It could be a teaching opportunity for them actually to clean up before leaving your desk.
