You need to watch this blanket when you dry it - my dryer shut down on an error due to plugged lint filter after only 10 mins. Need to clean out the filter every 5 or 10 mins during the first drying due to the huge amount of fluff thrown off....

This blanket washes terrible, the lint was so thick in my dryer, and I had to sweep the floor and had lint all over my house. My pants were loaded with lint just carrying it upstairs for one minute after the second wash. Do not buy!

LOVED the quality. Soft after washing and just the right medium weight. It fared MUCH better than another brand that I bought at the same time. This shrunk to 97 x 88 from its original size. It still fits a king size bed nicely, but mine has an extra deep mattress so I was hoping for less shrinkage. Overall, I would definitely recommend it, and I'm buying a second one for my guest room.

I love this blanket. It's soft and very attractive. It did shed quite a bit when I washed it but I expect that from a 100% cotton product. Since I use it above a top sheet and under a coverlet or duvet it won't need to be washed that often anyway.

I wanted a CLOSE-weave Cotton blanket,(like the nice pre-warmed cotton ones you get in a hospital).I could not find the exact ones like in the hospital; so I bought 2 different ones, they were not as CLOSE-weave as I had hoped.However Eddie Bauer Herringbone was the closest weave of the 2.The other was Madison Park Basketweave.However the Eddie Bauer had SO much lint when I washed it, I was not happy with that.BOTH were too much money, in my opinion.I buy King size blankets for my Queen size bed.I washed these in just HOT water hoping to make the weave closer, but it did not really.I expect both will still do the job, but I am concerned with pulls as I have 3 cats.I have a duvet, but need an added blanket in the winter and time for new ones.Hope this is helpful to someone.
