Edup's ethernet adapter cable adds extra utility to both Starlink's Gen 3 Dish and Minidish. I have the MiniDish so that is what I shall comment on. MiniDishie incorporates a wifi hotspot which it uses to locally distribute the internet. There are several reasons why this might not be best so Starlink added an RJ45 socket next to the power inlet port. Edup's short adapter cable plugs into that socket. Its RJ45 plug has the familiar circular ridged seals to make insertion weatherproof. At the other end of the adapter cable is a waterproof fixture housing an RJ45 socket. A standard ethernet cable of sufficient length to reach a router can then be plugged into this. It is a pity that MiniDishes don't accept Power Over Ethernet. It means the power cable must be retained.While this adapter cable answers the need for a weatherproof ethernet connection to my Minidish it is an expensive solution. Search Amazon and you will find a similar adapter cable for just a little more than half the price.

This is a simple coupler, you can connect an ethernet cable with your starlink - I use the Gen 3 and it works perfectly. It's just a lead that plugs into your dish at one end and has a weather-sealed gasket / coupler where you can plug in your ethernet cable.That's it! So far so good, we had a big rain the other night and no problems. Everything seems secure and well made, I'm happy with this cable/connector.
