Despite the plain box, this mount feels well manufactured. However, as you will probably be installing it by drilling though a roof surface, the waterproofing provision is poor. A rubber washer and a tube of silicone does not do enough to convince me it is worth the risk.Further, if I was installing this on a motorhome/static home, I would want a rubber mounting plate to avoid metal to metal damage to the roof surface. For the price, I expected more.
