Nadat ik de Vecys terug gestuurd had omdat ik daar totaal geen ontvangst mee had dacht ik, deze probeer ik nog en anders maar een dure bestellen.Maar toen ik het in test opstelling had was ik positief verbaast.FM had ik goed ontvangst, GPS super ontvangst alle streepjes vol ontvangst.En waar ik met mijn raamantenne maar 20 zenders had vond ik met deze bijna 80.Met de raamantenne vielen de zenders bij elke boom weg en nu overal goed ontvangst.Ik zou het advies willen mee geven om eerst te kijken wat voor gat er in het dak zit.Nadat ik mijn oude antenne er af had bleek mijn gat te groot en vierkant te zijn waardoor ik wat puzzelen moest om deze goed te kunnen plaatsen.Ik ben er super blij mee en zou deze iedereen kunnen aanraden.

Moeie auto antenne en was makkelijk te monteren en staat leuk op de auto.Wel is het jammer dat DAB ontvangst nog niet overal goed te ontvangen is.Gelukkig kan je met deze antenne ook gewoon fm blijven ontvangen.

Sinds ik deze haaienvin antenne heb, is de ontvangst er op vooruit gegaan. Heb nu overal DAB+ ontvangst, goede fm-ontvangst en ook de navigatie werkt hier super snel op. Alle losse antennes zijn hiermee overbodig geworden.

After testing other antennas to get good DAB (and FM) reception for my new Android head unit, I was pleased this antenna worked well and looks good.I was worried that the cables could be snagged when tightening up the nut to secure the shark fin, even though they came out the side in a gap in the fixing, as it was difficult to see in the restricted area above my headlining (hatchback). It would have been better if the cables came out the rear (along the centre line of the car) so they can be seen clearly. I made the hole larger to ensure no damage to the cables.It was also difficult to get the fixing nut on the thread, as the thread could have been a few threads longer. This was partly due to the restricted working area and partly due to the very slight angle of my roof, so it was difficult to get the nut on squarely.I sealed around the antenna with black silicone, but it was difficult to seal it completely underneath as I spent so long getting the nut secured and had to apply the silicone after the antenna was tightened up. It looked like my roof was level at the fixing point, but I wanted to ensure there would be no water ingress (Audi A3 8P).
