Worked satisfactorily but did help hat dry much quicker after cleaning

I am reviewing the Eiito Hat Stretcher for Fitted Hats, Cowboy Hat Stretcher Fitted Hat 7 to 8 1/2, Adjustable Hat Slide Rail Stretcher Fits All Caps Black.Up front: this product will work to stretch and form your hats, but you have to put some effort into it.Forming hats is easy. Slide the product in, pull the edges until it is snug and the spring-loaded clip will hold it in place. Great for right after washing a hat.Stretching, is where it gets a little tougher. Unlike other stretchers that have ratchet or screw mechanisms that you tighten inside of the hat band, this one is just pull and the lever holds it in place. So, to stretch your hat that shrunk in the wash, you insert it into the band, pull it until it is tight, remove it, expand it one more notch, then pull the hat back over it. Repeating this step over time if you need to stretch it more.It definitely works, it just isn't as simple to use for stretching as other devices. 4 of 5 stars.

I live in part of the country where cowboy hats are normal dress. I have a collection, and one of them is an expensive Calhoun felt hat. Problem is, either my head got bigger or the hat shrunk over the years. I haven’t been wearing it and that’s a shame.This hat stretcher solved my issue. I took a cloth and wet the leather band, plus the inside of the crown, then put in the stretcher and let it work its magic.Voila! My hat fits again.
