Love this fin

Deze flexibele fin is ideaal voor in ondiep water. Ik sup graag in de uiterwaarden van de Maas waar het soms ineens ondiep kan zijn. De fin is vrij ondiep, waardoor ik de bodem amper raak. Maar doordat de fin flexibel is heb ik minder kans om mijn fin en board te beschadigen. De stabiliteit van mijn sup board is verrassend goed met deze fin. Uiteraard moet je iets meer moeite doen om in een rechte lijn te blijven suppen, maar dat is verwaarloosbaar ten opzichte van de voordelen.

En algunos US-Box puede quedar estrecha. Hay que ajustar con otro M6 mas largo.

This was bought in readiness for a river paddle next year. I have now had time to try it out on the local reservoir under both calm and very windy / choppy conditions and the performance was very good. Tracking was good no different from the original fin supplied with the board. Slightly more tippy to begin with but now I feel just as confident. In my opinion I think it improved speed. I have an isup 14’ x 27”

Ich fahre auch gern im hiesigen Fluss/Bach, wo man auf breiten und daher seichten Stellen oft im Kies stecken bleibt. Ich fuhr daher eine Zeit lang ganz ohne Finne mit ständigem Paddelwechsel und begann nach einer Flussfinne zu suchen und wurde auf Amazon sofort fündig. Genau das richtige Teil. Wenig tief, biegsam und deutlich besser als ohne. Ich bin froh, dass ich mir ein SUP mit US Box gekauft habe, auch wenn der Schraubmechanismus fummelig ist, das system ist stabil und die Auswahl groß. :)

I would have given 5 stars, but the fin was too wide to fit my Gladiator Pro 2022 fin box. I had to file it down to make it fit. Seemed a shame to be taking a file to something this price when it was brand new.As for using it, have only had a chance to use it once since buying it. I tried it on the River Adur last week, which had a fair amount of weed. It seemed to work well and I didn't see any weed attaching to it. Will be interesting to see how it fairs on something like the Basingstoke canal, which was pretty full of weed last month.Aside from the fitting issue, it seems to be made of nice quality material and has a nice amount of flex - I bottomed out on a really shallow part of the river and hardly felt a jolt. And it's rigid enough to keep the board tracking well, seems like they've got the balance right. If it does end up picking up some weed, I'm thinking the flex might be useful also for freeing the weed by rocking the board quickly from side to side. Need to get back to Basingstoke to find out!
