Bien terminado, sensación de calidad. Quizás el plástico del frontal en el puerto reflex de note su pertenencia al segmento medio de precio.Bornes bien ubicados y prácticos. Quizás algo toscos en el apriete.La rejilla, magnífica. Tanto en calidad como en facilidad de colocación, por ajuste magnético.Sonido, me ha sorprendido para bien. Sustituyen a unos B&W DM602 S2. La escena sonora no ha empequeñecido por la disminución del tamaño de caja y de woofer. La limpieza del sonido, con un timbre más abierto y natural sobre todo en los tonos medios. Quizás ha perdido algo en los graves aunque no los echo en falta. También me ha gustado su escucha a volúmenes suaves, que es como suelo escuchar la música: jazz, vocal, clásica.

These are exactly what i've been looking for! Went through a few amps, and a few speakers looking for this exact sound. Rp600m's polk s20's, klipsch 51m's, etc. These have a warmth and finesse to them that just go so perfect with my sprout 100. They have an amazing softness and warmth to them, but it's backed up by some of the strongest bass i've heard in a bookshelf speaker. Not to mention these soft and ear pleasing have some serious umph to them once you crank up the power. Unboxing them, these things are heavy. The first bookshelf speaker I've held where the front was noticeably heavier than the back and you can tell this has some seriously heavy drivers in it. These are rated at 6 ohm but Andrew Jones himself said on a youtube video that they can pull as low as 3.8 ohm or something around there, which means you better have a 4 ohm rated amp. Luckily the sprout 100 is, and it pushes these so nicely. Can't say enough good things about them. Finally my sprout 100 has that warmth and beautiful tone I've been looking for. Everything else to this point has sounded a bit cool and a bit too dry for my taste. At least with this amp. Pick your amp and speaker combo wisely. For adding the musicality back into class D amps, this is the speaker for you. If you're going to run a rp600m I'd highly suggest a class AB amp to soften them up a bit. I'm keeping these and already in love. Can't wait till they fully break in.As a side note, I've seen mixed things on this when compared to the rp600m. But I will say in my room (which requires speaker to be relatively close to the wall) these sound much better than the rear ported rp600m. The front port really does seem to allow them to be placed slightly closer to a wall and although not optimal, they sound damn good. Which for me, makes them a more usable speaker.Low level listening is great, still very detailed and alive at low volumes. I crank these as loud or very close to as loud as my rp600m's, and that was shocking to me considering Klipsh claims like 8db higher sensitivity. Maybe it's the fact that these can take 4 ohm, and my sprout 100 is able to output double the wattage into 4 ohm.These speakers continue to impress me. These are the first bookshelf speakers that I can honestly don't need a sub for music use. I do have a nice SVS SB2000 Pro but I'm finding that compared to all my other bookshelf speakers, I'm turning it way down with these. With my rp600m's I'd use around -14db on the sub, with these Elac Reference I'm using -24db. It's making me realize how much mid bass was missing in previous bookshelf speakers.

Paired it with the Rotel A12MKII. It's beautiful. Can't ask for more. Probably my end game speakers. It's like hearing all my songs for the very first time. You can't go wrong with these!

Ennesimo capolavoro dell’ingegnere Andrew Jones che ha prima lavorato per Pioneer e Kef. Diciamo prima di tutto che non hanno finiture che ti fanno esclamare WOW, anche se esteticamente non sono male. Hanno un aspetto un po’ vintage. Il cabinet ha un rivestimento in vinile finto legno e il frontale è laccato nero opaco. Pesano parecchio. La sostanza infatti è dentro il cabinet e si sente benissimo. Molto equilibrate su tutte le frequenze. Suono caldo e mai stancante. Ottima separazione degli strumenti e ottimo palcoscenico sonoro. I bassi ci sono eccome, e davvero, non serve un subwoofer. Non è del tutto vero che serve un super ampli per farle suonare. Io le ho provate anche con un piccolo 50 watt in classe D e hanno suonato molto bene e in modo equilibrato.Certamente per cogliere tutta la loro dinamica, raffinatezza e il loro calore ci vuole un ampli serio, ma questo vale quasi sempre per qualsiasi diffusore. Io le ho abbinate a un Thule audio del 1995, 100 watt per canale, e sono proprio felice. Ho detto tutto.
