This thing is really nice. Around the house, where I do most of my playing, 15 watts is plenty. The tone stack in this pedal works pretty much like a standard Fender amp. EQ works very well. Bright/Normal switch also works well. To have all of this on something that easily fits my pedalboard is really great.Highly recommended.

Great for my bedroom studio, I can set it on my table with my pedals and other equipment and adjust the controls without having to bend down. Having three tone controls and and a norm/bright switch it can go from a warm sound to a sparkly tone and anything in between. It even has and effects loop! The gain won't get you to hard rock/metal range but I have lots of pedals for that, but it does produce some nice crunchy chords. The lack of reverb isn't a problem for me, I'd rather use a quality pedal. I have to say I'm really loving this Electro-hamonix stuff lately!

The Howitzer pedal amp is a great concept, and for a "throw in the bag as a backup" type amp, absolutely. FX loop too! I liked the sound, but didn't love it. There was just something missing for me. Lacked fullness and bottom end punch and was a tad fizzy. Might be the LED clipping circuit used for overdrive. But, that's a personal preference on the sound I wanted to get from it. The product is great and many people are happy with it. I ultimately returned it because it wasn't exaclty what I was looking for, and I couldn't see myself keeping it when I already have amps, more amps, and bacup amps. Great value for what you get though, which is what attracted me to it in the first place.

This one do the work perfectly. The send and return inputs make the difference. Maybe more watts of power but I'm verry happy with this one.
