Electro Harmonix OD Handschoen

I'm constantly auditioning dirt pedals and I am an EHX fan. In the last 2 years I've had a Luna, Double Muff, Ultimate Drive, Hot Tubes, Tall Font Russian, EQD Monarch and a Swollen Pickle. I read that this was another OCD type pedal, like the Ultimate Drive and I wanted to try it out. I've never actually played a real OCD so I can't tell you the difference.This is a very tight sounding overdrive. No fizz or jangly sound and it doesn't have as much wash as the UD. It's a very tight and punchy sound. Marshall-esque in that regard. It's a medium gain pedal and I'm using it as my overdriven sound at about the same volume as my clean sound. It cleans up my Tall Font Russian (my main distortion/muff style) fuzz very well so that I can palm mute and have some mid breakthrough in the mix. They sound amazing together.Right now I'm not using the tone shift much, it makes the pedal much louder and increases the mids a lot, like a beefier tubescreamer. It's kind of a dark sounding pedal as well and I'm keeping the tone at 3 to open it up. I'm also running it at 18V.Cool thing about this pedal is that you can run it at 18V on a 9V power supply (per the manual). I like the 18V sound, it's less compressed.How does it compare? Well, it's taken over the OD spot on my board and sounds great through my Fender NOS Blues Jr. For the price you can't beat it. It's a great value and you'll enjoy it if you like UD/Marshall sounds.

EHX ne peut pas le dire, mais c'est une clone d'OCD. Je n'ai pas essayé l'original, mais le son est excellent, se stack bien avec une autre overdrive par exemple, et la pédale a plusieurs petites options sympa (un switch HP/LP qui ne dit pas son nom, et un switch interne pour commuter 9v/18v). Et le prix est carrément abordable pour une pédale de cette qualité. Un bon plan.

シングルコイルのギターで使用した結果音が太くなり音圧感が増した気がします。GAINを13時以降にするとマーシャルに近い雰囲気の歪みになりました。スイッチをオンにするとハイミッド辺りが上がり抜けのいいサウンドになりました。手持ちのBD-2をブースターのかわりに使用する使い方がとても気に入っています。下手なOCDコピーよりこちらをオススメしたいと思います。
