Not much to say about these, they are a plastic ball with soft bumps, but they did genuinely shorten the time period to dry a load in my dryer. The effect can be variable, sometimes they do get stuck in an arm, but on average they do reduce the drying effort.Can't say that I've noticed any improvement in softness as stuff was already coming out really soft.Only drawback is the noise which can be horrendous! As long as you're putting your dryer on when you plan to be out you'll be fine. If you're thinking of using these at night then I think you'll struggle.
