This is terrible! I tested it by attempting to cook pasta. Even on the low setting, the room immediately filled with smoke, a horrible burning smell (which I can still taste, even without eating the pasta!) and there were black bits floating in the water.In the first minute on the low setting, it was ridiculously hot, smoking and bubbling like crazy, I had to turn it off. I don’t feel safe using it, and will be returning for a refund.

I got an electric shock touching the rim of the pan. This is not safe!!
