Yes, it's incredibly heavy. The slightest nudge when it's pulled up to near enough full height, however, will see it sway and wobble. Long as you're not going to be touching it (or using it in a strong draught), it'll stay steady enough.Important to note that even once you've measured your space for this and feel confident it'll fit well, you may still be surprised by just how HUGE it is in use. But don't be tempted to go for a small size screen if what you're trying to hide behind you (on Zoom or Teams calls, for example) extends quite a way in both directions. The width of this screen will make sure nothing peeps through on that important video call.I'm knocking off a star for two reasons: 1) Who actually trusts 5-star reviews, honestly? and 2) How easily it can be wobbled, making you think the whole screen is about to tip over.For professional use, you'll want to pay a bit more for something heftier.For casual use, it's pretty much ideal.

This is my second purchase. I bought the smaller screen a few years ago and still use it. I needed a larger screen is reason for my newest purchase. I did have a little struggle opening the new screen. My husband realized it was off the end roller. Easy fix, but don't force it if it's stuck. You may also notice the center pull up handle arrow tells you which direction to lift. Remember to unfold the foot pads before you open screen. These help with balance. If you handle with care these will last for years. It folds back into its metal case. I always lower slow and careful so it doesnt roll up to quick.
