Estuve buscando un snack saludable, práctico y rico para picar entre clases durante un trimestre intenso. Los snacks de carne seca Ember Biltong (probé los sabores Original y Chilli) resultaron ser una buena opción durante ese tiempo, aunque finalmente decidí no continuar con ellos una vez que terminé mis clases.Lo que me gustó (y por qué funcionaron para mí en ese momento):Altos en proteína, bajos en calorías. Me ayudaban a mantenerme saciado entre comidas, evitando caer en la tentación de snacks menos saludables.Prácticos para llevar: Los paquetes individuales de 25g son perfectos para llevar, los buscaba para saciar, por lo que esa cantidad para mí era perfecta. No necesitan refrigeración, lo que los hace ideales para tener a mano en cualquier momento.Sabores intensos (especialmente el Chilli): Probé tanto el sabor Original como el Chilli. El Original es bueno, pero el Chilli realmente me gustó, con un toque picante y avinagrado agradable que no es abrumador.Textura agradable (para ser carne seca). No es excesivamente duro ni chicloso, pero han sido los únicos que he probado, por lo que quizás no puedo comparar.Bajos en grasa y azúcares. Esto los convierte en una opción mucho más saludable que las típicas patatas fritas o galletas.Ingredientes relativamente simples: Me gustó que no tuvieran una lista interminable de ingredientes artificiales.Por qué dejé de comprarlos (y esto es importante para otros compradores potenciales):Precio: Hay que ser honesto, no son baratos. Para un consumo regular, el costo se suma. Una vez que terminé mis clases, ya no tenía la misma necesidad de un snack tan práctico y proteico, y preferí opciones más económicas para mi día a día.¿Para quién son ideales estos snacks?Estudiantes o personas con horarios apretados: Son perfectos para tener a mano cuando no tienes tiempo para una comida completa.Deportistas o personas activas: La proteína es excelente para la recuperación muscular después del ejercicio.Amantes de la carne seca/biltong: Si ya te gusta este tipo de snack, el de Ember es de buena calidad.Personas que siguen dietas altas en proteínas o bajas en carbohidratos: Encajan perfectamente en este tipo de alimentación.Personas que siguen la dieta paleo o keto.Consejo: Si nunca has probado el biltong, te sugiero comprar un paquete pequeño para probarlo antes de comprometerte a comprar una caja grande.

Firstly, buy with confidence, as the overall value is good.Taste:Really great taste, you get a very meaty taste straight off the bat, with a well seasoned second taste. For me I certainly got the cloves, and coriander although there are other spices there too. Not a "bloody" taste in the sense of blood, its a mature meaty taste with a good depth of flavor.Ingredients:Better than the normal branded supermarket run of the mill Biltong. I am on the KETO diet where no or little carbs are important. an per 100g there are 0.6 grams, and for 28g there are 0.2 grams, and take note that these are 28g packs the carb count is very low! with good fat content and protein alike. So in terms of my go-to snack, this is healthy.Price:through this seller -10 x 28g = 280 @ £16.99 (reduced from £19.99 - so price may go back up), £1.69 per 28g pack (reduced price) and £1.99 at full price (at which I paid), of which I am happy to pay due to the convenience, along side the taste etc, ingredients and packaging.Buy direct -15 x 28g = 420 @ 27.99, which is £1.86 per 28g pack (slightly cheaper if sold on Amazon at £19.99) - slightly more expensive but not a lot.Overall good value and not overpriced at all, which means good value for money.For me, I am happy with the product, and I normally grab a pack in the evening a couple of hours before bed knowing that 28g of a health product is good for me. So I will definitely purchase again.
