Emile Henry Taartschotel, Keramiek, Klei, 26x26x5,5 cm

This is a gorgeous pie dish, perfect for a gift or your own kitchen. The blue-gray color is gorgeous and the construction looks substantial and well made. I've found that pies and casseroles bake equally well with this. I also love how versatile it is, it's nice to know that such a nice piece is safe for freezer, microwave, oven and dishwasher use. It also cleans up well and is durable over time. I have acquired several Emile Henry pieces over the years and they have all held up well, zero problems with chipping, cracking, scratches, etc. It makes me feel completely comfortable using this regularly. Highly recommended.

I have ordered a replacement and have high hopes it will arrive without the defects I found when this item arrived. I love Emile Henry products but this particular pie plate arrived with glaze defects (interior and exterior) and rough spots (exterior creating sharp spots for handling and flawed appearance). For the price you pay for this brand you want to use and display them with comfort and pride. Will wrote a follow up review once the replacement arrives.

Wonderful

Haven’t actually used it yet but was delighted with the quality and appearance of this pie dish. Some reviews have said it was smaller than expected but would easily serve 6. Hopefully the measurement photo will help. It may be a pricey compared to others but you get what you pay for and I’m very pleased with this addition to my kitchen and it will look great oven to table.

Exactement ce à quoi je m'attendais : bonne profondeur pour les recettes de "pies" américaines et vraiment très joli. La marque ne déçoit pas, comme à son habitude !
