Excellent speaker for use with my custom bass rig. I run my bass into a POD HD Pro rack unit which runs to a Matrix GT1000FX solid state amp. The left out goes to this speaker (mounted in a custom combo cabinet) and the right out goes to a Marshall 1960a cab. The tone of the Eminence alone is incredible and mixed with the 4 12s makes for a truly sinister monstrosity of bass awesomeness!

I called GK for support on a blown speaker.they were behind a couple months on a replacement.also my cabinent was not under warranty.I hopped on amazon and got this speaker with the specs outlined by GK.Works very well now; hardly a difference in the performance in any of the speakers.

This driver is superbly-well constructed. The stamped-steel spider is precisely made, with no flashing or cheap thin portions. The cone is stiff and made of quality materials. The magnet is immense and the voice coil is large, so this unit can soak up high power. It comes supremely-well-packed and in pristine condition. I placed this in an older Fender combo cabinet. I also replaced the amp section with a modern Dynabass head. It sounds fantastic.

Used to replace blown speaker in a rumble 75...excellent lows, great speaker
