Purchased the Eminence Professional Series Kappa Pro 12A 12" Pro Audio Speaker, 500 Watts at 8 Ohm, to upgrade a bass cab that tended to flub out on low bass notes. After installing this speaker in that cab, I immediately noticed greatly improved performance in that range. Visual surveillance revealed the appearance of a high quality product, and although looks don't necessarily translate into high performance, in this case it certainly did! Totally satisfied with this speaker, and should a need arise for another 12" speaker for a bass application, I would not hesitate to get another.

I loaded this sub into a seismic audio empty woofer cabinet. It has plenty of thump and extended low end. Fills the area with DEEP bass, plenty for live events indoors or add some more cabinets for outdoor use.
