I purchased it to replace a 2 channel radio controller that had failed in my swimming pool 12V motorized cover roller the radio controller of which originally cost 4 times the cost of the eMylo. The eMylo works just fine in this application as it allowed me to set it up to latch the relays. I only used 2 channels of the 4 provided but it allowed the other two to act as halt buttons. I added a power on/off switch to the unit as otherwise one of its relays would stay latched all the time. It would have been nice if it had included a timer to allow one to set it so it reset after a pre determined time , but at this price it is already very good value for money and good quality so I am not complaining. I was pleased they had not wired up all the neutrals as in this application it would not have worked if they had done so. It is now operational in an IP66 box outside near the sea so it will be interesting how long it will survive.

I bought this for a home made electric curtain project. What I needed was a remote switch that allowed different modes of switching. This unit gives 3 modes: LATCHED = press button A or B and the relays will stay on until you press the same buttons again. MOMENTARY = press A or B and the output will stay on as long as you keep the button pressed. And TOGGLE = A turns relay on and B turns relay off. However, you can't mix mode types between channels 1 and 2.Each channel has an isolated output relay, so you can switch any voltage from low DC to AC mains. Each channel relay is a single pole relay providing COM., N/O, N/C terminals. Programming is via a single button in conjunction with 2 LEDs on the circuit board. There is a good video on youtube that details exactly how to program the remote controls for whichever switching mode you want.PROS:I liked the neat and simple design of the unit. It's small, runs on a wide DC voltage range and has independent isolated relays for each channel. When power is lost to the main receiver unit all the settings remain as you programmed them when power is re-established. There are two remote control fobs with a simple A and B push-button pads to control the channels. The fobs are small and easily fit in your pocket or keyring. I also liked the flexible programming possibilities and quiet operation of the relays. Good clear instructions, well written and in many languages.CONS:Not much to say here, except as I write the review, they are out of stock here on Amazon. I would have bought another one as a backup for my curtain project. The remote fobs, although small and discreet don't look very robust and I fear that dropping them on hard ground might result in a few pieces. Also the instructions to change the battery in the fobs was not applicable to the version I had. Looks like I will need to carefully lever off the casing, rather than undo a screw that does not exist! The programming could have been easier, but to be fair a better user interface would have escalated the price too much I guess.CONCLUSION:I was delighted with the purchase. It suited my project requirements perfectly and I can say that other users will find plenty of options on this little module to suit a variety of projects. Good price point... hope they come back in stock!

I bought this for an outside light to be switched on by remote. My husband found the instructions provided rubbish. But looked online instead. Now works well

Just the job for turning on difficult to reach light switches.
