The magnification is good, marking for measurement is legible.To clarify other reviews:1. The second lens is intentionally made of plastic for less scratching. The main lens (glass) is perfect. No eye strain when using it yet the magnification is crystal clear.2. The build quality is actually good. It is plastic, yes, but it makes the item less heavy. Also, maybe others are feeling it without the battery that makes it too light, thus, feeling cheap. But when batteries are in, the additional weight makes it feel more solid.Highly recommended.
