The 1/4-hole punch worked just fine. The 1/8-hole punch didn't work so well as it punches but then sticks together forcing you to manually separate the handles to get it to release from the paper. So, this set is ok if you don't need to punch many papers at a time and not that often. If you have lots of paper to punch and you would use this on a regular basis, I'd look for something better quality.

I didn't realize this was for 2 sizes of holes. It is and I'm pleased. My last normal-sized hole punch just broke after many years and I was looking for a new one. I got these. One makes regular sized holes and the other makes small sized holes--see photo for holes. They are easy to operate and feel like they should last years.
