Collegato ad un portatile HP Elitebook 840 G7 viene attivato il monitor esterno solo se collegato alla HDMI, purtroppo non alla VGA (resta spento). Per attivare il monitor collegato alla VGA é necessario inserire (ogni volta) la spinetta USB-C a PC già avviato.

Personnellement, je ne me suis plus servi d'une prise vga depuis la nintendo wii mais je suis content de l'avoir au cas-où. Je crois que les vieux projecteurs sont encore en vga...Comment ? Oui, je divague.Plus sérieusement, l'adaptateur et juste simple, pratique et facile d'utilisation. Absolument rien à reprocher. Les finitions sont sympas et il est tout petit. On branche au pc ou à la tablette, et on projette sur la télé ou autre. Aussi simple. Bonne qualité de transfert. Vraiment un super rapport qualité/prix.Le seul bémol que je pourrais émettre concerne le câble qui ne peut pas se détacher. Du coup il faudra toujours le transporter dans le carton car j'ai peur de le plier à force dans le sac. Je pense d'ailleurs que s'il a un souci dans le futur, ça sera à cause de ça. C'est dommage.Après, je suis mauvaise langue, on verra dans le temps. C'est pourquoi je laisse 5 étoiles pour l'instant mais je reviendrais changer ma note si je rencontre un souci avec. Je trouve que c'est normal de faire ce genre de retour...Comment ? Oui, j'aime divaguer.

Update:Managed to get in to the office and test/use this with a VGA monitor ... as with the HDMI testing I did at home, the VGA port has worked PERFECTLY... so still a solid and definite 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - HDMI & VGA ✔️Original Review:Currently I have a couple of adapters that give HDMI only together with a couple of USB ports, and these adapters work fine when I use the HDMI interface to connect to a monitor.I was specifically looking forward to using this adapter, because at my work place office there are some monitors on some of the desks, but some are only HDMI while others are only VGA - so thought this adapter would be perfect having both HDMI and VGA on the same adapter.At home, I first tried with my S21 connecting to a 4K HDMI monitor, and that worked perfectly. Samsung DeX sprung into action, whereby the monitor displays my phone's desktop and the phone's touch screen becomes a trackpad for the on monitor cursor.I then tried using it with the same 4K HDMI monitor to my laptop using this adapter. And again, this worked perfectly such that I now had my laptop screen AND my 4K monitor connected via HDMI.Unfortunately I will have to wait to get to the office to try the VGA, as I don't have any monitors with VGA (but I am not expecting any issues, especially as the HDMI part is working perfectly).At £14.80 (at the time of review), I would say that is cracking value for HDMI and VGA within the same adapter. An easy and definite 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ imho.

Go for it if you need such a device. It’s sturdy and user friendly.

Connected to USB-C port on my Lenovo laptop running Win 10. Both VGA and HDMI outputs worked without any hiccups. Win 10 detected it immediately and went to multiple display modes. From settings -> System -> Display -> Multiple display options, I could choose Duplicate display or extend the display on to two monitors (split across two monitors) etc.Then I moved to my HP low end i3 model and the output from adapter was a blank. If the Laptop/device does not support screen mirroring across the USB-C port, you cannot do a simple plug-and-play operation. In this case, it was not the problem with "USB-C to VGA/HDMI adapter" but limitation of my old model HP laptop. SOME of the frustration in comments is related to this issue. So please check if your device supports screen mirroring through USB-C port. Just my observation...
