If you're looking for an amp to power your high-end speakers/sub/whatever. Just continue looking, this product isn't meant to sound great or function amazingly, it's made to drive those old rickety speakers you have sitting in the back of your shed that you haven't dared throw away yet because "We might actually find a use for them someday." even though you've been playing basically all your music through a bluetooth speaker for the past 6 years and even before then, they weren't great.The advertised 500w is obviously boohickey, I didn't measure anything, but some other reviews have also mentioned that their observed power draw is less than advertised and, again, to be expected.But, for exactly that use case I mentioned earlier, it's actually pretty decent.I had a set of big three-way speakers sitting in my garage with no amplifier to hook them up to. (Because again, bluetooth has been a thing for quite a while now.) I didn't want to throw them away cause I'm basically a borderline hoarder and since I had a little garden party coming up (not while in lockdown, it was actually allowed for a while) I wanted to see if there was a cheap way to get them blasting some music across the field. The setup was decent, though one of my screws seems to have been cross-threaded in so it's kind of difficult to screw in or out. But after connecting everything, low and behold, there's audio. It's not the loudest you'll ever hear, and at higher volumes (70%+) it starts to distort easily, but again, you're not using this to power any 15 thousand bucks high fidelity sound systems anyway.If you're looking to get some old sawdust-filled speakers pumping in your workshop again for cheap, it's worth a try. Just know you're not buying this for the quality.

I needed a lot of amps to run sound in a large scare maze. After racking my brain the thought of car/bike amps jumped out. Now after reading reviews I was a little nervous but there was no need. I am running 4 of these right now with mp3 as the sound input. They even charge the mp3 which is a bonus. x2 200w speakers on each amp and they are plenty. I would even stretch to x4 100w speakers for more coverage. Now the main thing is they are not 500w amps.. Probably closer to 36w if bridged but they work fine and are loud enough. The only note is that to just plug it in you will need a power adapter (12v plug) which are £3 on here. You will also need to wire the remote power lead (yellow) to the + power. Really easy once you try.
