Het is een degelijke monitor arm, voelt kwalitatief aan, is heel handig omdat het heel flexibel is. Zeer geschikt voor 29 inch ultrawide schermen. De enige nadelen zijn dat het prijzig is, en de kabelgoot is een beetje te dun voor alle kabels van een gaming pc.

Sprawny, porządnie wykonany uchwyt, po wielu miesiącach użytkowania działa nadal równie skutecznie z monitorem 38 cali. Jedyna wada - jeżeli do monitora idzie dużo grubych przewodów (2x HDM, DP, USB do huba, zasilanie) to nie mieszczą się do kanału w ramieniu uchwytu (trzeba je podpiąć na paskach z rzepami) albo mieszczą się, ale blokują się w tym kanale przy monitora w znacząco rożne pozycje (np. praca raz z jednej strony biurka, raz z drugiej - bez przenoszenia uchwytu względem blatu))

Ne vous inquiètez pas, vous pouvez soit percer a travers le bois du bureau pour fixer le bras, ou si vous souhaitez préserver votre bureau, vous pouvez juste utiliser les pinces fournises.J'ai utilisé les pinces. Et je dois dire que l'écran est incroyablement stable. A tel point, que si je laisse un gros livre tomber sur mon bureau, l'écran sur le pied Ergotron remue moins que mon autre écran sur son pied fixe d'origine.Ce pied libère la place utilisée par le pied sur votre bureau. J'ai maintenant 30 cm de + en libre sur le fond de mon bureau.Les mouvements du bras sont très agréables. Sans avoir resserer les vis du bras, la résistance au mouvement est parfaite.Juste assez pour ne pas que le poid de mon écran 24" ne le fasse redescendre petit a petit (une fois en place, le bras maintient l'écran parfaitement placé, même si on y touche pas pendant des semaines), et juste assez pour qu'on sente la petite résistance lorsque l'on bouge l'écran, sans que on doive forcer pour le déplacer. C'est simplement parfait.Le bras vient également avec un système pour que les câbles de l'écran soient caché a l'intérieur du bras et ne traine pas sur le bureau quand on tire l'écran. Ca marche très bien, il y a des systèmes + développé pour cacher les câbles mais cet Ergotron fait un excellent job, et la simplicité fait que son installation est beaucoup + simple.Le bras permet de bouger l'écran vers le haut et le bas. On peut toucher avec l'écran le bureau en descendant, et on peut monter sur 40 cm +/- en hauteur. Je ne pense pas qu'il y ai de limite sur la rotation droite et gauche de l'écran, je touche le mur derrière l'écran avant d'atteindre cette limite. On peut faire également une rotation pour qu'au lieu que l'écran soit horizontale, il soit placé verticalement, on peut incliner en avant et en arrière l'écran (la rotation avant et arrière moins libre que sur les autres angles, dommage). Et on peut tirer vers soit l'écran sur un 80 cm a un bon mètre je pense. Tout ça très facilement, avec l'agréable sensation de résistance que l'écran offre, signe de qualité.Au final, un excellent produit. Il ne va pas révolutioner votre utilisation du pc si vous êtes juste un utilisateur standard. Cependant il va améliorer de façon notable votre expérience du jour au jour.Lorsque je regarde un film, je me penche juste en arrière sur mon fauteuil et je soulève l'écran tout en le penchant en avant, afin d'avoir l'écran au dessus de moi pendant que je suis couché, mon canapé est suffisamment proche pour mater l'écran en tant assis dessus, pouvoir mettre l'écran en verticale est très pratique pour la lecture de certains pdf, ou pour regarder certaine image (permettant que l'image prenne une bcp + grande partie de l'écran), la place libérée sous l'écran n'est pas négligeable non plus. J'ai maintenant caché sous cet écran une rallonge USB, le câble de recharge de mon téléphone portable etc, il est bien mieux de les avoir caché derrière l'écran que de trainer sur le coté du bureau.Au final mon seul regret est que mon deuxième écran n'est pas de connecteur VESA pour installer un bras sur lui.Note :Qualité 5/5Look 5/5Simplicité d'installation 5/5 (installé en 15 mn)Note finale 5/5Edit : 4 ans pus tard, mon pied Ergotron fonctionne toujours à merveille. Un de mes meilleurs achats.Depuis mes ecrans ont évolués, et le modèle actuel installé dessus est un écran 4k de 28" et le pied ergotron ne bronche pas et le maintient parfaitement fixe et stable. J'ai craqué et j'ai acheté une rallonge pour le bras permettant de tirer l'écran + loin. Même avec le bras tendu au maximum il reste parfaitement stable. La seule deception est que le bras augmente la portée du bras en longueur et pas en hauteur.

I was amazed at how fast the installation of this item was. I want to say I spent less than 30 minutes from the time I started to the time it was up and running. I have set up other mounting arms that attached to the desk or were free standing. With those devices I found that getting the monitor attached to the mounting plate is always difficult. Attaching other devices to the edge of a desk can also be cumbersome.The design of this arm is very simple. The plate that attaches to the wall does not have the swivel arm permanently attached. That makes it very small and light. I located the wall stud and drilled the two 5/16" holes needed in just a few minutes. The mounting bolts are three inches long, so you need to have a long drill bit. I used a 1/4" drive ratchet with a 1/2" socket to install the two bolts. The bolts are listed as 13mm but the 1/2" socket did work. However, it was "snug" fit for the socket.If you don't have a socket set, you may have trouble getting the bolts completely tight. There is a "U" shaped area where the bolts fit. You would not be able to get a crescent wrench or a pair of pliers in there easily.Once the plate was mounted to the wall, the first arm just drops into place on the spindle in seconds.Mounting the second arm to the monitor was also very simple. Four thumb screws are provided. It was very simple for me to lay the monitor on its face and line up the mounting holes. The plate has holes for 100mm and 75mm.The provided thumb screws were the correct size to fit into my monitor. Because you are only holding one of the arms while you attach it to the monitor, it is a one person job. The arm is light enough to be held with one hand while you line up the holes. Your free hand can then start the thumb screws into holes. You are not trying to juggle the arm, a screw and a screwdriver at the same time.Once the arm was mounted to the monitor, it drops into place on the spindle at the end of the first arm. At this point, you have a usable system. By grasping the sides of the monitor, you can move it around or rotate it.The remaining steps are mostly cosmetic. There are two plastic covers that snap over the top and bottom of the wall mounting plate to cover the bolts. There is also a plastic cover to snap over the spindle at the "elbow" of the two arms. That took less than two minutes to put those on. You might want to watch the YouTube video on this arm. It shows the assemble steps.Dressing the cable by attaching them to the arms was a little awkward. Two black zip ties are provided in the package. They are used to attache the wires to the mounting arm attached to the monitor. There are two protrusions on the bottom of the arm that the zip ties go over. You have to do this pretty much by feel when the monitor sits over a desk.The arm attached to the wall has a removable plastic cover that will expose the channel for the cables. I have three cables to my monitor (HDMI, VGA and power). Getting them lined up inside the cover and getting it reattached to the arm was also a little awkward. The cables were a little stiff and kept wanting to jump out of the channel. I was leaning over the desk and the top of the monitor trying to do this.Like some of the other reviews, my only downside on this mounting arm is the instructions. The instructions consist of one sheet of paper approximately 11" by 17" printed on both sides. They show five steps but is it not the logical order in which you need to proceed.Step 1 is a chart that shows how high off the floor the wall bracket needs to be. There are four columns and six rows of entries. Two columns are for 4x3 monitors and two columns are for 16x9 monitors. For each monitor aspect ratio, there is a column for sitting and one for standing. The six rows in the table are for various monitor sizes ranging from 15" to 22".The first time I looked at the chart, I found it confusing. I then realized the variations in the measurements was approximately 2" for a seated user. For example, the wall plate should be mounted 34.9" off the floor for a 15" 16x9 monitor. A 22" 16x9 monitor should be 33.2" off the floor. Since the mounting arm will move up and down approximately 6.5", it didn't really matter how precise you mounted the bracket to the wall.I put the bottom of my wall mounting plate 4.5" above the top of my desk. The bottom of the 22" monitor will come down to approximately 5" from the top of my desk.Step 2 of the instructions was an "exploded" view of all of the mounting arm parts. I don't understand why this is step 2.Step 3 is the wall plate mounting options. In addition to the bolts, plastic anchors are also provided if you want to install this into a concrete wall. The instructions show an optional wall track and bracket that can be purchased separately. That might be nice if you want to adjust the monitor between a sitting and a standing position.Step 4 shows how to adjust the tension. There is a step 4a and 4b for the two different adjustments. Step 4 covers about 80% of one side of the instructions. Most of that is four different warnings in nine languages.Step 5 shows a set screw on both spindles that can be tightened. I suspect that tightening these two screws would lock the arm in position. A 2.5mm wrench is provided to do this. If the first arm is perpendicular to the wall, you would probably not be able to get the wrench into the set screw.I do like this mounting arm. I am considering getting a second one for other monitors on my desk.
